Oldschool Imperial Stout

Beer profile

This is a classic, dark and strong beer with a rich, complex flavor profile. It stands out with its intense black color and abundant beige head. The aroma reveals notes of coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, and roasted malts, complemented by hints of dried fruits and molasses. A dense malt base combines with a distinct yet well-balanced hop bitterness, while the full, oily body emphasizes the warming character of this beer. Thanks to its high original extract, this beer has excellent aging potential, during which it develops additional notes of port, sherry, or red wine. Its strength and richness of flavor make it a beer meant for slow tasting and celebration. And why Oldschool? Precisely because we wanted the recipe to capture the spirit of a classic, strong, roasted, bitter Imperial Stout. Almost 20% roasted/chocolate malts speak for themselves!
